Click here to view SDS Employment's Program Statement. SDS Employment is a division of Solano Diversified Services (SDS), a non- profit corporation located in Vallejo, California. Solano Diversified Services’ mission is to provide training and employment services in a variety of community, integrated settings to adults with to adults with disabilities in Solano County. SDS Employment places people with disabilities into jobs in the community. SDS Employment provides intake, job development and job placement services, along with on-the job training and supervision, as well as assistance with mobility support and special job modifications. Work opportunities within SDS for people with disabilities: - SDS Janitorial: SDS Janitorial business currently provides employment for 3 work crews. The crews work at various commercial, city, state, and federal job sites in Vallejo, Fairfield, and San Pablo. A certified IICRC Floor Care Technician is on-staff. - Solano Landscaping and Maintenance: SDS’s landscaping and maintenance business currently provides employment for 2 full-time mobile crews. Landscape crews complete commercial and residential jobs within Solano and Napa counties. SDS has a C-27 license and a Qualified Applicator Certificate. - SDS Litter Abatement: SDS provides crews for one-time or ongoing litter abatement services - SDS Production: SDS Production currently provides employment for 4 crews for 2 major corporations in Solano County. The production crews work various warehouse tasks in multiple settings. - SDS Telephone Switchboard Operations: SDS provides 24/7 telephone switchboard operations supporting Travis Air Force Base and military members and dependents around the world.
